Welcome to AMTA Maine!

Welcome to the home of the Maine Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). The AMTA is non-profit organization representing more than 58,000 massage therapist nationwide. Our Maine Chapter proudly supports 622 members practicing in our state. We provide continuing education opportunities, networking and social opportunities, and updates on any legislative changes. We also work hard to educate our communities about the benefits of receiving skilled massage. Interested in attending the National Convention for free???  Check out the ME AMTA scholarship here!  Scholarships are available for one full early registrations fee (includes up to 18 CEU hours and 1 meal).  That’s an approximate value of $369! In order to be eligible, individuals must be Maine AMTA chapter members who are first time National Convention attendees. Simply write a 150-500 word essay answering “Massage Therapy Continuing Education has changed the way I practice by…”.  See the scholarship form for more details. Click here for more information.
